Aaron Opelt, QB, Toledo: Completed 30-of-38 passes for 402 yards and five touchdowns, including the game-winning score with 27 seconds remaining for a 37-30 win over Ball State.

Stephen Williams, WR, Toledo: Had two touchdown receptions of 51 yards in the win over Ball State, including the game-winning score with 27 seconds remaining. He finished with 10 catches for 231 yards.

Mike Ball, RB, Nevada: The freshman had 15 carries for 184 yards and five touchdowns in a 63-28 win over UNLV. Prior to this game, Ball had one carry for no yards in his career.

Louisiana Tech defense: Tech snapped Hawaii's 62-game streak with at least one touchdown and held the nation’s No. 7 offense to minus-7 yards rushing and 301 total yards, which was well below Hawaii’s average of 515.3. The Bulldogs also had seven sacks, which was as many as Hawaii had given up all season.

Donald Buckram, RB, UTEP: Had 32 carries for a career-high 262 yards and four touchdowns in a 58-41 upset victory against Houston.

Shiloh Keo, S, Idaho: Had a team-high 11 tackles, including a key stop on a two-point conversion that would have tied the game late and had the game-saving interception with 1:14 remaining.

Joe Buckley, K, Navy: Made all three of his field goals, including the game-winner in overtime to give Navy a 16-13 win over Air Force and a leg up in the chase for the Commander-in-Chief Trophy.

Daniel Porter, RB, Louisiana Tech: Rushed for 160 yards and two touchdowns during a 27-6 win over Hawaii. It was Louisiana Tech’s first win over the Warriors since 2005.

Nevada running game: The Wolf Pack rolled up 559 of their 773 total yards on the ground. Running backs Mike Ball and Luke Lippincott combined for 354 yards and six touchdowns and quarterback Colin Kaepernick added 173 rushing yards.

Eric Greenwood, WR, Idaho: Had six catches for a career-high 130 yards and two touchdowns. He made big catches on all of Idaho’s scoring drives.


Case Keenum, QB, Houston: Had a career day in the loss to UTEP by completing 51-of-76 passes for 536 yards and five touchdowns.

Max Komar, WR, Idaho: Led the Vandals with 12 catches for 151 yards and a touchdown.

Brynn Harvey, RB, UCF: Had 42 carries for a career-high 219 yards and a touchdown in a 32-14 win over Memphis.

Darius Marshall, RB, Marshall: Rushed 28 times for 141 yards and two touchdowns in a 21-17 loss to East Carolina.

Bernard Pierce, RB, Temple: Had 25 carries for 180 yards and two touchdowns in a 24-12 win over Eastern Michigan.

Hiram Atwater, S, UAB: Returned an interception 40 yards for a touchdown with 1:05 remaining to seal the UAB’s critical 30-17 win over Southern Miss.

Chad Spann, RB, Northern Illinois: Rushed 22 times for 132 yards and three touchdowns during a 38-3 win over Western Michigan. Spann has 10 touchdowns this season.

Northern Illinois defense: Forced a fumble and three interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown, to help the Huskies defeat Western Michigan 38-3.

Frank Goodin, RB, Louisiana-Monroe: Had 19 carries for 163 yards and three touchdowns, including the eventual game-winning score in a 48-35 win over Florida International.

Jeremy Kerley, WR, TCU: Kerley was the Frogs leading receiver, but it was his work on special teams that helped TCU. He had four punt returns for 123 yards, including one of 71 yards and one kick return of 52 yards.
