NCAA upholds ruling for UNC DE McAdoo

The NCAA has upheld its original decision of permanent ineligibility for North Carolina junior defensive end Michael McAdoo, the school announced Wednesday evening.

“We appealed this decision because we believed it was unfair and we continue to believe that,” UNC athletic director Dick Baddour said in a prepared statement.

McAdoo’s appeal was originally heard by the NCAA Student-Athlete Reinstatement Committee on Tuesday, Dec. 14. The university is still working with the NCAA to resolve the pending case involving fullback Devon Ramsay.
