Pitt and Penn State can get along after all

You know what they say about keeping your enemies close ...

With that in mind, who can blame Pitt coach Pat Narduzzi and Penn State coach James Franklin for having a good ol' time Wednesday? The Keystone State rivals linked up with Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin during an organized team activity at the NFL club's SouthSide facility -- which just happens to be shared by the Panthers.

You can bet Narduzzi will remind folks of that the next time a question about taking on the Nittany Lions comes up.

Longtime rivals Pitt and Penn State have not played each other since 2000 but are set to face off in four straight season, from 2016-19. So there's still some time before Narduzzi and Franklin can really dial up the intensity level.

Until then, the rest of us can enjoy the Twitter barbs between the two staffs. And watch Tomlin's mentions blow up from fans of both schools for making these two coaches play nice.
