Chippewas score two Chicago prospects

Two-star athlete Darrien Boone (Chicago/Vocational) and wide receiver Joe Morrow (Chicago/Hales Franciscan) are set to play for Central Michigan, according to multiple sources.

Rivals.com reports that Eastern Illinois, Northern Illinois, Tulane and Western Illinois also offered the 6-foot-4, 185-pound Boone, who posted a 4.97 40-yard dash, 4.43 20-yard shuttle, 30.3-inch vertical and 70.53 SPARQ on the Nike Combine circuit this spring.

Morrow, a 6-foot-1, 195-pound pass-catcher, selected Central Michigan over a scholarship offer from Buffalo.

The Chippewas have six pledges for this recruiting cycle.
