Hogs score LB Marcus Robinson

Senior linebacker Marcus Robinson (Memphis, Tenn./East) made an unofficial visit to Arkansas on Saturday and left campus pledged to the Razorbacks, according to the Memphis Commercial Appeal.

"Just coming up here and seeing the campus, seeing how they ran their scrimmage today — it was wonderful for me to see," he said. "I felt like I'd fit at Arkansas."

The Hogs topped scholarship offers from Arkansas State, Clemson, Illinois, Memphis, Mississippi State, North Carolina, Ole Miss, Purdue, Texas Tech and Vanderbilt for his commitment.

Robinson, who registered 74 tackles and one interception last fall, shined at the Opening this summer when he posted an electronically-timed 4.82 40-yard dash, 4.41 20-yard shuttle, 32.5-inch vertical and 102.87 SPARQ.

Arkansas has 13 players on board for 2013.
