The Falcons have picked up a class of 2013 commitment from two-star offensive guard Tim McAuliffe (Lemont, Ill.). McAuliffe's decision was reported by multiple outlets and confirmed by ESPN RecruitingNation Midwest blogger Jared Shanker.
Ball State, Toledo, Western Kentucky and Western Michigan also extended scholarship offers to the 6-foot-2, 270-pound blocker. BCS programs including Illinois and Michigan State showed some interest.
ESPN describes McAuliffe as a "a tough customer who finishes with the nasty attitude we like to see when evaluating offensive linemen."
He is the 11th verbal for Bowling Green.
