Three-star defensive tackle Antonio McGhee (Bossier City, La./Parkway) is no longer committed to the Green Wave, according to the Times-Picayune. This is McGhee's second decommitment. In June, he switched from Louisiana Tech to Tulane.
McGhee intends to take official visits to Oregon State, South Carolina, Ole Miss and LSU and announce his final decision on national signing day. All but the Tigers have offered. Memphis, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and SMU also recruited the 6-foot, 270-pound senior.
"I've been feeling this way for a while," McGhee said. "I committed too early in the process. I just got to explore my options more, and pray about it and see where I end up at."
"With some coaches, when you commit during the season, they won't recruit you as heavy and all. Now that I have decommitted, I'll probably get a lot more play from a lot of coaches now."
Tulane has 16 verbals following the departure of McGhee.
