Multiple sources are reporting that Louisiana-Monroe received a commitment Wednesday from Tevin Horton (River Ridge, La./John Curtis), an under-the-radar running back whom ESPN considers a three-star talent.
ULM is Horton's only scholarship offer at this time but he's also heard from Arkansas, Florida State, Houston, Kansas State, Mississippi State, Oklahoma State, SMU, TCU, Texas A&M and Tulane among others.
He's displayed impressive athleticism on the combine circuit including a 4.60 40-yard dash, 4.54 20-yard shuttle and 29-inch vertical.
This fall, Horton has carried 25 times for 207 yards (8.3 average) and four touchdowns. John Curtis is currently 5-0 and ranked No. 5 in the ESPN 25 Power Rankings.
The Warhawks have seven verbals.
