Scouts: Miami bounces back

Miami lost a prospect a few days ago (Ricquan Southward), but once again they have quickly bounced back and picked up another commitment. This latest verbal is an addition to the offensive line as Daniel Isidora (Weston, Fla./Cypress Bay) joins the Hurricanes top 25 class.

We feel the in-state prospect will fit best at guard in college. He will need to watch how he adds any additional mass and may need to rework his build, but the big boy has the tools to be a very productive run and pass blocker. He can quickly get into defenders, generate good power on contact, and create movement off the ball in the run game. The big man also does a very nice job, especially for his size, when asked to pull and trap. In pass pro he needs to keep his pads down, but he delivers a good punch and flashes the ability to bend and slide his feet.

Isidora may not be a player who has garnered a ton of attention among O-Line prospects, but he is a good pick-up for the Hurricanes.
