Scouts: OLB or TE for Taboada?

Stanford has enjoyed some success plucking talent out of Georgia and they just landed a verbal from another promising prospect out of the Peach State in Greg Taboada (Atlanta/Marist). The ESPN 150 athlete could fit nicely as an outside linebacker in their defense, much like current Cardinal and Georgia native Chase Thomas, or as a tight end, a key position in Stanford’s offensive attack.

The four-star possesses nice overall size and is a good athlete who looks to maximize his ability by working to do the little things. He plays hard and fast, can take on blocks and be productive versus the run as well as be disruptive as a pass rusher. He can also be a productive receiving target as a tight end and could develop into a strong blocker.

Taboada is a very good football player. However Stanford chooses to utilize him, he displays the ability to be a nice fit and a productive player for them.
