Washington Massillon's Turner resurfaces

Scottsdale (Ariz.) Community College defensive back Justin "J.T." Turner, a 6-foot-2, 200-pounder, is now committed to play for Hawaii, Scout.com reports.

Turner picked the Warriors over scholarship offers Arizona and Mississippi State. Arizona State and UCLA were among the other schools to show interest.

Turner originally signed with Michigan in 2009 out of Washington High School (Massillon, Ohio) as one of the nation's most highly-touted recruits. He also had a brief stint at West Virginia prior to arriving at Scottsdale CC.

Hawaii has three verbal commitments.
