Three-star defensive tackle Kyle Shortridge (Loxahatchee, Fla./Seminole Ridge) committed Monday to sign with Louisville, according to multiple reports.
This is Shortridge's third pledge. He originally committed to Wake Forest (official visit Sept. 7), switched to Purdue in October, but dropped the Boilermakers last month. The 6-foot-2, 273-pound senior also took an official visit to Nebraska (Aug. 24).
His other scholarship offers include Boise State, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, UConn, Florida Atlantic, Georgia State, Indiana, Iowa State, Kentucky, Marshall, Michigan State, Minnesota, Mississippi State, Missouri, Ole Miss, South Florida, Texas A&M, Tulane, West Virginia, Western Kentucky and Wisconsin.
ESPN believes Shortridge has some upside, stating in his evaluation, "If he can maximize the ability he has he can develop into a pretty productive college defender."
