Fresno St. adds Bakersfield College duo

Bakersfield (Calif.) College quarterback Brian Burrell and one of his primary targets, tight end Mike Dunn, have committed to sign with Fresno State, the Bakersfield Californian reports.

Burrell completed 54.7 percent of his pass attempts for 2,555 yards, 27 touchdowns and 7 interceptions this fall while leading Bakersfield to its first state title. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound prospect graduated from Bakersfield (Calif.) High School in 2011.

According to Rivals.com, he was also recruited by Air Force Army and Idaho among others.

Dunn, a 6-foot-3, 240-pound prospect, tweeted his decision: "I just Verbally Committed 2 play football at The University of Fresno St #GoBulldogs."

Rivals lists Nevada as having offered Dunn while New Mexico, Texas State, UTEP and Western Michigan showed interest. He caught 35 passes for 603 yards and eight touchdowns this season.

The Bulldogs have picked up the pace on the trail of late, with more than half of their class jumping on board in December.
