Junior wide receiver Cameron Denson (Tucson, Ariz./Salpointe Catholic), a 2014 ESPN Watch List prospect, committed Saturday to his hometown Wildcats and head coach Rich Rodriguez, multiple sources report.
He posted on his Twitter handle @camdenson5, "Good day to be a wildcat #BearDown"
Denson is currently one of the most heavily offered 2014 prospects out West, holding scholarships from Arizona State, Colorado, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oregon State, UCLA, Utah and Washington.
"He’s 100 percent sure," Salpointe coach Dennis Bene informed the Arizona Republic. "This is a very solid commitment. This is great for the hometown. Rich has that recruiting class up and going."
Denson displayed impressive versatility as a junior throwing for 408 yards and three touchdowns, rushing for 1,026 yards and 18 touchdowns and catching 37 passes for 585 yards and 2 more scores.
The 6-foot-1, 175-pounder is Arizona's first 2014 pledge.
