Spain Park (Hoover, Ala.) quarterback Nick Mullens has switched his pledge for a second time and is now set to play for Southern Miss, according to multiple sources.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pound senior originally selected Jacksonville State of the Football Championship Subdivision in November. Earlier this month, he dropped Jacksonville State for the hometown UAB Blazers.
Murray State also offered. Programs such as Arkansas State, Middle Tennessee and Western Kentucky showed interest in the two-star prospect.
Mullens put up huge numbers as a senior, passing for 3,649 yards, 40 touchdowns and just 8 interceptions, leading Spain Park to a 10-3 record and a region title.
