#Ask Loogs: Tracking Cards QB commit

This has always been a very intriguing, somewhat baffling commitment for us, considering Bonnafon (Louisville, Ky./Trinity) has yet to play. Yes, I realize that that he has seen some duty and taken limited snaps, but not enough make a long-term evaluation or projection for development. It is my belief that this young man attended camp one or more times and showed enough to the staff that they felt he could be a legit guy down the road. I broadcasted their games and he did not see any snaps in those contests. He is a very good athlete and he is a local product at a very prominent program, which from a program-building standpoint is very important. For us, he is a guy to track. A wait-and-see prospect because nobody truly knows enough yet about how he’ll perform until he sees significant time. He has flashed enough tools to intrigue and make you believe he could blossom down the road. Quite honestly, if you are Louisville and he has a great senior year, their job is about to get a whole lot more difficult if other suitors come calling.
