B.C. loses DB to another sport, school

Defensive back Donovan Henry (West Roxbury, Mass./Catholic Memorial) confirmed this morning that he decommitted from Boston College earlier this week and will attend Northeastern on a track scholarship.

Henry, who was also used as a running back at Catholic Memorial, committed to BC in July.

"I (decommitted) this past Wednesday and yes, it was a hard decision," Henry said in a text message. "I'll talk more on signing day."

Henry is scheduled to participate in a press conference at Catholic Memorial on Wednesday. Three other Catholic Memorial players are expected to sign a national letter of intent that day. Three-star linebacker Camren Williams has committed to Ohio State, two-star quarterback A.J. Doyle has committed to Massachusetts and four-star defensive back Armani Reeves is undecided.

Reeves is expected to choose either Ohio State or Michigan. He is the top-rated recruit from Massachusetts in the Class of 2012.

Reeves and Williams originally committed to Penn State, and Doyle originally committed to North Carolina State as a linebacker.
