The Auburn Tigers signed 20 players for the Class of 2012 yesterday, however they are not done yet.
Head coach Gene Chizik told the Press-Register:
"Our recruiting class is hopefully not complete. But that being said, we're extremely happy about the 20 that we got, and it's been a great day."
It is believed that Auburn is still heavily recruiting four-star ATH Stefon Diggs (Olney, Md./Our Lady of Good Counsel; No. 13 in the ESPNU 150) and two four-star offensive lineman: Jordan Diamond (Chicago, Ill./Simeon; No. 94 in the ESPNU 150) and Alex Kozan (Highlands Ranch, Colo./Valor Christian). All three players did not sign a letter of intent on Wednesday.
Diggs, who was not expected to sign yesterday, took an official visit to Auburn (Jan. 13) and is also seriously considering Ohio State, Florida and California, all of which he visited.
War Eagle chanters will know where Diamond is going later this week, as he is set to announce between Arkansas, Auburn, Michigan and Wisconsin on Friday.
Kozan recently verbally committed to Iowa over Auburn and Michigan, but did not sign with the Hawkeyes. ESPN's Damon Sayles communicated with Kozan last night and the 6-foo-4, 295-pounder stated that he was struggling with the decision:
"Don't know. Trying to decide ASAP. Want (it) to be done."
Auburn's class was ranked 17th in 2012 according to ESPNU, however that class will look a lot better if the Tigers secure signatures from any of these undecided prospects.
