Florida State landed commitments from a pair of Evans High School (Orlando, Fla.) prospects on Saturday during the program's junior day, according to multiple sources.
6-foot-2, 180-pound ESPNU 150 Watch List wide receiver Tony Stevens, one of the fastest rising prospects this month, selected the Seminoles over scholarship offers from Florida, Georgia, Ohio State, Alabama, South Carolina and Central Florida.
"(Head coach Jimbo Fisher) said I had a good chance to win (the Fred Biletnikoff award)," Stevens told the Orlando Sentinel. "It feels good. I didn’t think I would commit this early but everything turned out … I mean Florida State just had that feeling like I was at home; like I was standing next to coaches at my own school."
Ro'derrick Hoskins, a 6-foot-3, 215-pound linebacker, also committed. "Felt like I was at home. The coaches treated us good ... just everything," Hoskins told the Sentinel. "The school was nice and that’s pretty much it."
