Gronk, 4 others miss practice with injuries

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Tight end Rob Gronkowski (hip) was among five players who did not practice Wednesday, the New England Patriots announced in their injury report.

Guard Logan Mankins, who missed all of last week with a hip injury, returned to practice but was limited with both calf and hip injuries.

Quarterback Tom Brady (right shoulder) was also limited. He had the same status last Wednesday, but was removed from the injury report on Thursday.

Safety Steve Gregory (hip) and tight end Michael Hoomanawanui (concussion) did not practice after leaving Sunday's game in Buffalo. They joined Gronkowski, tight end Aaron Hernandez (ankle) and receiver Julian Edelman (hand) as those not practicing.

Running back Brandon Bolden, who ran for 137 yards on Sunday, was limited at practice with a knee injury. Linebacker Dont'a Hightower, who left Sunday's game, was limited with a hamstring injury.

Rookie cornerback Alfonzo Dennard was removed from the injury report after being listed as limited with a hamstring injury since Sept. 7.
