Patriots links around the Web

A few New England Patriots-based links from around the Web:

Talib talks of time with Patriots. In a Q&A with Peter King of TheMMQB.com, cornerback Aqib Talib details some of the differences between what the Patriots were offering in a contract compared to the Broncos. He also speaks highly of his time in New England.

Wilfork rises up board in '04 draft do-over. In a "re-do" of the 2004 draft, Bucky Brooks of NFL.com makes defensive tackle Vince Wilfork the 10th overall pick. The Patriots were fortunate to select him 21st that year.

Brady the beneficiary. Chris Wesseling of NFL.com lists the 12 players who are the greatest beneficiaries of their team's free-agent shopping. Tom Brady and Peyton Manning lead off the discussion before Wesseling focuses on others.

NFL with no comment on Talib & Spikes remarks. Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com writes on the league having no comment about "allegations" made by Talib and Brandon Spikes about the Patriots' injury reporting procedures. My opinion: I don't think Talib was taking any type of shot, because the team was actually protecting him with its injury reporting, while Spikes was more referencing that the decision to be placed on IR wasn't mutual from his viewpoint. Somewhere along the line, I think context has been lost with this story.

LaFell takes a break from Twitter. Jonathan Jones of the Charlotte Observer details how former Panthers receiver and current Patriot Brandon LaFell is planning to take a one-month break from Twitter after how some perceived his remarks on Wednesday.
