Hogan back in for fantasy? (2:22)

Matthew Berry lays out if Patriots WR Chris Hogan plays Monday, his return from injury could mean great news for fantasy owners. (2:22)

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. -- New England Patriots wide receiver Chris Hogan felt his shoulder responded well to the week of practice and, not surprisingly, he made the trip with the team to South Florida for Monday night's game against the Miami Dolphins.

Hogan expects to play against the Dolphins, barring a setback.

The starting wideout injured his right shoulder in New England's Oct. 29 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, and the Patriots have been thin at receiver without him, relying on Brandin Cooks, Phillip Dorsett and Danny Amendola. Hogan's expected return comes at an important time, as the Patriots will be without tight end Rob Gronkowski on Monday due to a one-game suspension.

In addition to Hogan, Patriots No. 3 offensive tackle LaAdrian Waddle (ankle) and running back Dion Lewis (illness) were pictured as being part of the team's traveling party on the club's official website.

The Patriots have already ruled out linebacker Kyle Van Noy (calf) and starting right tackle Marcus Cannon (ankle).
