Injury report: JPP questionable

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul (shoulder) is questionable for Sunday's game against Green Bay. Pierre-Paul had a limited practice Friday.

"Still day by day," Pierre-Paul said. "I went out there and tested it. Just taking it day by day."

Pierre-Paul suffered a right shoulder stinger against the Raiders on Sunday and said X-rays came back negative. He missed practice Wednesday and Thursday and said Wednesday he was not sure whether he would be able to play Sunday. On Friday, he made his return to the field.

The defensive end said the decision to play will come down to how he feels heading into the game.

"It felt pretty good," Pierre-Paul said. "This was my first time practicing all week since the injury. I'm pretty good for right now. I still have three days left to make up my mind if I want to play or not."

Prior to the game against the Raiders, Pierre-Paul, who had offseason back surgery, said he felt he was at 90 percent. He recorded a sack against the Raiders, just his second of the year. On Wednesday, despite dealing with the injury, Pierre-Paul said he has returned to form.

"I’m back. There’s no question about that, I’m back," Pierre-Paul said. "Last Sunday’s game, I think I had a great game. That was probably one of my best games. Wound up with one sack or whatever, could have had more.

"The way I came out Sunday, I’ll come out the rest of the year."

The Giants will be without cornerback Corey Webster (groin/ankle) on Sunday, as he will miss his second straight game and sixth of the season. Webster missed four straight games with the groin injury and barely played against Minnesota and Philadelphia before sitting out last week's win.

Running back Brandon Jacobs (hamstring/knee) is questionable after a limited practice Friday. He has missed the past three games.

For the Packers, cornerback Casey Hayward (hamstring) is out, as is quarterback Aaron Rodgers (collarbone).
