Injury Report: Cromartie call is game-time

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie will be evaluated prior to the 4:05 p.m. ET game at the Carolina Panthers to determine if he has passed the NFL’s concussion protocol and is eligible to play.

Cromartie practiced Friday in a limited capacity and spent part of the practice period being examined by doctors. Officially, he is questionable for the Carolina game. Cromartie has been dealing with a hip problem and the concussion.

Jets coach Rex Ryan said Cromartie looks good in practice, but the coaching staff doesn’t have the final determination on whether he plays.

“So he can look great now, but you go to a game, if something’s not right, they’re not going to put the young man out there,” Ryan said. “I think that’s good.”
