Knicks to hold training camp at West Point again

Derek Fisher and Phil Jackson will be taking the New York Knicks back to West Point for the second year in a row.

After running his first training camp at the United States Military Academy last fall, Fisher and the Knicks will return to West Point for their first five days of camp at Christl Arena from Sept. 29 to Oct. 3.

Fisher and Jackson hope that the team will bond with an off-site camp. Last year, the Knicks had to learn the triangle offense for the first time under a first-time head coach.

This year, there are at least eight new faces to incorporate with the additions of Robin Lopez, Arron Afflalo, Kyle O'Quinn, Derrick Williams, Sasha Vujacic, Kevin Seraphin and rookies Kristaps Porzingis and Jerian Grant.
