NY1 will drop by Brooklyn's Gleason's Gym, where Heather Hardy trains full time, to speak with the undefeated prospect on her budding career as a professional boxer.
NY1 will broadcast two live segments featuring Hardy. the first airing at 7:15 a.m. followed by the second one an hour later, at 8:15 a.m.. Following those segments, NY1 will run a condensed two-minute piece that will air periodically throughout the rest of the day about the Brooklyn boxer, who is promoted by Lou DiBella.
Hardy, now 4-0, has been impressing fans on DiBella cards since turning pro last August. I became a Hardy fan awhile back, when I came across a WNYC report in which Hardy, mother of a pre-teen daughter, said, "When I fight people who are moms? You can't break a mom. A single mom, forget it."
