Ithaca, NY resident Jon Jones, as well as his foe for a Sept. 21 contest, Alexander Gustaffson, and UFC standouts Georges St-Pierre, Ronda Rousey, Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos will hit NYC for a press conference at the Beacon Theater on Wednesday.
The event is free, and open to the public.
Jones, a 26-year-old regarded by some as the best mixed martial artist on the planet, holds the UFC light heavyweight (205 pounds or less) crown. The 19-1 fighter takes on Swede Gustaffson (15-1; age 26) at UFC 165, set to unfold in Toronto.
UFC president Dana White, always a supreme entertainer, will preside over the gathering.
The conference kicks off at 1 p.m. at the Beacon Theater at 2124 Broadway.
