The Brooklyn Nets announced their Summer League roster on Monday:

No. 24 Carleton Scott F (played for team’s NBDL affiliate in Springfield, Mass.)

No. 1 Kashif Watson G (brother of ex-Net C.J., who signed with the Pacers Monday)

Of note:

• Jason Kidd will be coaching the team to get some much-needed experience. Kidd is slated to appear in court on July 11 to face a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated last summer.

• The Nets will host a Summer League mini-camp from July 3-6 at their practice facility in East Rutherford, N.J.

• The Nets will play five games during their Summer League schedule in Orlando:

Sunday July 7 vs. Detroit 5 p.m.

Monday July 8 vs. Miami 5 p.m.

Wednesday July 10 vs. Utah 11 a.m.

Thursday July 11 vs. Houston 3 p.m.

Friday July 12 TBD
