Pierce plays at World Series of Poker

Paul Pierce probably won’t be invited to any poker games with the Brooklyn Nets.

Pierce displayed his skills on the felt on Saturday, when he participated in the $10,000 buy-in pot-limit Omaha championship at the World Series of Poker.

Pierce, who was often seen dancing and enjoying himself at the table, had one of the top chip stacks during the tournament, but ended up getting eliminated and finishing out of the money.

Asked by cardplayer.com if he thought he’d have an easier time making money off his new teammates than his old Celtics ones, Pierce responded, “Probably them now. I got some new people to feed on, so watch out when I get there.”
