Lopez notes: Pierce to stay a starter?

A few more notes on Brook Lopez:

• Will the Nets decide to keep Paul Pierce in the starting lineup to make up for some of the scoring lost due to Lopez being out for the rest of the year? In his past two games, Pierce is averaging 25.5 points on 81 percent shooting.

• Lopez has two seasons remaining after this one on the four-year, $60.8 million max contract he signed two summers ago. He has had four serious foot injuries over the past four seasons.

• The Nets are 7-10 with Lopez in the lineup this season, 2-7 without him.
