Spokesman clarifies CEO's tweet

A Nets spokesman clarified to ESPN NewYork.com that CEO Brett Yormark’s tweet following Tuesday afternoon’s 93-76 loss to the Boston Celtics wasn’t solely because of the team’s on-court performance.

"Nets fans deserved better," Yormark tweeted after the game. "The entire organization needs to work harder to find a solution. We will get there."

Yormark was also unsatisfied with technical issues at Barclays Center during the game, the spokesman said, including the national anthem being delayed because of problems with the sound system.

"Brett is very passionate about the fan experience, and wants everything to be perfect," the spokesman said, adding that the team is working diligently to resolve the issues.
