Humphries (ankle) out vs. Suns

NEW YORK -- Brooklyn Nets reserve power forward Kris Humphries will miss Friday night’s game against the Phoenix Suns due to a sore left ankle, the team announced just minutes before tipoff.

Humphries had missed two games due to a sprained left ankle before returning and playing 10 minutes (two points, three rebounds) in Tuesday night’s victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.

Humphries, 27, is averaging 7.0 points and 7.1 rebounds in 28 games (20 starts) for the Nets. He missed five games earlier in the season due to a mild abdominal strain.
