Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at Barclays Center. Here's what we'll be watching for:
NEW VENUE, NEW RESULT? The Hawks ran all over the lethargic Nets in Atlanta, scoring 29 fast-break points. The Nets, who were playing the second half of a back-to-back, went just 4-for-26 from 3-point territory. They'll have to pick up their transition defense, which should be easier to do since they had an off day this time around.
The Hawks (22-16) have lost five straight road games, but have beaten the Nets (23-16) six consecutive times. Atlanta will get Josh Smith (16.5 ppg, 8.3 rpg) back after he missed Wednesday night's game due to a suspension for conduct detrimental to the team.
SEEKING REVENGE: Joe Johnson, bothered by Atlanta's constant double-teams, shot just 4-for-15 from the field in his first game against his former team. The Nets are going to have to get into their sets quickly and move the ball quickly to make the Hawks pay for doubling Iso Joe.
SUPPORT SYSTEM: Brooklyn's bench has averaged 40.7 points in its past seven games. It is unknown if Gerald Wallace will be part of the bench or the starting five, but he is expected to play more minutes in his second game back after missing the previous two due to bruised ribs.
