Evans' reply to criticism: LOL

Brooklyn Nets power forward Reggie Evans bolted before talking to reporters after Wednesday night's 105-85 blowout loss to the Miami Heat. But Evans did tweet.

"People going to sprain their fingers talking crazy on my timeline. #iaintlyin!!!!! Lol." Evans tweeted. "These people on my timeline funny A$$$$$$$$$ hell Lmbo!!!!!!!!! Keep it up I love it.

"Are y'all done yet? They are only words, I can't feel them, so u can't hurt me. Lol. I cannot stop laughing at these people on my timeline. They do not give up. Love it."

Heat star LeBron James, who was the subject of some brazen pregame comments by Evans, was not amused. Evans devalued the Heat's championship, saying it wasn't worth as much because it was captured in a lockout season. Evans also said James was "no different than Joe Johnson or Andray Blatche."

"You can't just come out and say something like that versus a champion," James said. "No one knows what it takes unless you've done it. You can't sit here and judge and talk about a team winning a championship unless you've done it. (Evans) hasn't done it.

"I'm not going to sit here and give Reggie Evans a lot of press, because that is what is going to happen for the next couple days."

Lost in the shuffle, Dallas Mavericks center Chris Kaman tweeted about Evans during the game.

"The Heat better watch out for Reggie Evans secret moves! #Justsaying" Kaman tweeted.

Kaman may have been referring to when Evans grabbed him below the belt during a 2006 playoff game. Evans was fined $10,000 and given a flagrant two-foul for his actions, but was not suspended.
