The Hofstra University softball team is two wins away from making the Women's College World Series for the first time in school history.
The Pride begin a three-game series against No. 19 South Florida on Friday night at 7 p.m. in Tampa, Fla, airing on ESPNU.
Game 2 will be on Saturday at 2:30 p.m., and Game 3 (if necessary) will follow at 5 p.m. (Those games will also be on ESPNU.)
Hofstra advanced to the Super Regionals by upsetting No. 12 UCLA and beating San Diego State to win the Los Angeles Regional championship.
The Pride are 41-13 on the season, and have won 20 games in a row. They are led by star pitcher Olivia Galati, who is 33-5 and has won 31 straight starts. Galati, a junior, has the lowest ERA in Division I (0.91), and the most shutouts (17).
