Rutgers ranked No. 15 in BCS standings

A day after Rutgers improved to 6-0 on the season with a 23-15 win over Syracuse, the Scarlet Knights were ranked No. 15 in the initial BCS standings.

That makes Rutgers the highest-ranked team among Big East schools.

The Scarlet Knights are also ranked No. 19 in the country in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll, released earlier on Sunday.

It's quite a start for first-year head coach Kyle Flood. Next up for Rutgers is a game at Temple (3-2), this coming Saturday in Philadelphia.
