CSI nabs third straight CUNY crown

The top-seeded College of Staten Island Dolphins won their second straight CUNY men’s basketball championship with an 80-74 win over John Jay.

Bloochy Magloire scored 26 points and grabbed four rebounds to lead CSI.

The Dolphins limited John Jay to 36 percent shooting and hit 48 percent of their field goals.

Jon Chadwick-Meyers had 15 points and Dylan Bulger added 14 for CSI.

Jamar Harry had 15 points for John Jay.

On the women’s side, Francess Henry’s 27 points led Baruch College to its sixth straight title in a 73-62 win over Brooklyn College.
