Injury Report II: Beckum has neck injury

Tight end Travis Beckum is dealing with a neck issue now after coming back from a hamstring injury.

Beckum practiced early but then stopped.

“Travis has some kind of thing in his neck,” head coach Tom Coughlin said. “Doesn’t have anything to do with his hamstring. He is having some muscular problem with his neck. They thought he had it worked out and whatever happened, happened.”

RB D.J. Ware and S Sha’reff Rashad both underwent tests on their concussions. Coughlin did not have a report yet on the two injured players.

"I feel good, I feel a lot better," said Rashad, who suffered the concussion on the defense's first play of the game.

Coughlin said he can use S Michael Johnson (back) on the field. Backup S Michael Greco has a minor sprain in his knee and had to come out of practice on Monday.

Starting guards Chris Snee (knee) and Rich Seubert (hand) both practiced. Snee participated on a limited basis but Coughlin said both seemed “to do well.”

"In my mind, I'm playing against Baltimore," Seubert said. "The plan was, when it happened, wait a couple weeks and see how it feels and is recovering and healing. In my mind, it feels good."
