Aaron Ross is heading to Cincinnati on Thursday and then stopping in Washington to talk to the Redskins, a source confirmed.
After the Giants re-signed Terrell Thomas, Michael Coe and Justin Tryon on Tuesday, the team has depth now in the secondary to go along with Corey Webster, Prince Amukamara, Bruce Johnson and Brian Witherspoon at corner. It's hard seeing the Giants spending a chunk of money to keep Ross but we'll see.
In other Giants-related free agency news, Mario Manningham is talking to three other teams now according to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter. Also, Schefter tweeted earlier that free agent tight end John Carlson signed a five-year, $25 million deal with the Vikings.
Carlson is coming off a shoulder injury from last season and still got a nice deal. Which makes us wonder, how much are the Giants willing to pay for a tight end like Martellus Bennett, who visited with the team on Wednesday.
Remember, if you want to keep up with the Giants' free agency moves, here's the list.
