Giants schedule released tonight

We already know the Giants open their title defense on a Wednesday night against the Cowboys.

Tonight, we finally find out the rest of the Giants' schedule and exactly how difficult it will be.

At 7 p.m., SportsCenter will air a special on the schedule release and break down every team. We'll have you covered right here at ESPNNewYork.com with a Rapid Reaction to the schedule, a column, game-by-game prediction and a look at the five best games, all to come later tonight.

I know it's crazy to do a game-by-game prediction this early -- before the draft -- but we've done it each of the past two seasons. I predicted the Giants to finish 10-6 in both of the last two years so I'm 1-1 in that department, just missing last season by a game.

The defending champs will have the toughest schedule in the NFL, but it will be interesting to see how it starts and ends since we all know that the Giants can have brutally tough second halves of the season. Here are the teams they will play at home and on the road.

Home: Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers.

Away: Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, San Francisco 49ers, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals.
