The New York Giants have brought back seven players to the practice squad.
QB Rhett Bomar, TE Bear Pascoe, OL Jim Cordle, DL Nate Collins, DB Seth Williams and DB Sha'reff Rashad all cleared waivers and were signed to the practice squad.
The Giants also are bringing back TE Jake Ballard, who was waived earlier in camp.
Bomar was released on Saturday when the Giants reduced their roster to 53. The hope was that Bomar would clear waivers and be able to join the practice squad for the second straight year after the Giants acquired Sage Rosenfels.
The team hoped to do the same with RB Andre Brown but Brown was claimed by Denver.
