Notebook: Wilson sets 2012 goals

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Rookie running back David Wilson has finally set his goal list for the upcoming season.

He does one every year and posts it in his locker to remind him daily. Wilson shared his new goals with reporters and here they are:

No fumbles

Gain 5 yards per carry

Score at least 10 touchdowns

Allow no sacks on his behalf

Have at least one play of 20 yards or more per game

Rush for 100 yards in at least six games

"I got the coach typing it up right now to put it in my locker," Wilson said with a laugh. "Because I don’t have a printer."

The first-round pick said he has not set any goals for any individual accolades yet.

Tuck and roll inside?: Head coach Tom Coughlin was asked if Justin Tuck might be used more inside at defensive tackle with Marvin Austin (back) hurt and seventh-round pick Markus Kuhn lacking experience behind starters Linval Joseph and Rocky Bernard.

Defensive coordinator Perry Fewell will slide Tuck inside sometimes when he utilizes his four defensive end NASCAR package.

"Not necessarily," Coughlin said. "He comes down in there in certain substituted defensive situations. Not much against regular people."
