Injury report: Rolle limited by knee

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Safety Antrel Rolle was limited in practice as his bruised knee continues to bother him.

Tom Coughlin has repeatedly praised Rolle for his toughness and ability to play through pain. But Rolle is still feeling discomfort with the knee, which he banged against a television camera in the corner of the end zone last Thursday in Carolina. It's a situation to monitor as the week progresses.

Cornerback Jayron Hosley (hamstring) and linebacker Keith Rivers (hamstring) sat out Wednesday's practice as the Giants prepare to renew their rivalry with the Eagles.

"It's still sore," Hosley said of his hamstring. "That's probably the main thing right now, it's sore."

"I want to be out there and help my team," added Hosley, who isn't sure if he will be able to practice this week. "But I've gotta get my hamstring right. That's what I'm focused on right now."

Coughlin said Prince Amukamara has a good chance of starting on Sunday night. Hosley has been the Giants' best option against slot receivers.

RB Ahmad Bradshaw (neck) returned to practice and it appeared he had bigger shoulder pads on. Coughlin said Bradshaw will return as the starting running back.

Wide receiver Hakeem Nicks did not practice Wednesday as a scheduled day off and is expected to work Thursday. Nicks is expected to play against Philadelphia.

CB Michael Coe (hamstring) did not practice. T David Diehl also sat out practice.

WR Domenik Hixon (concussion), DE Adewale Ojomo (hamstring) and CB Corey Webster (hand) all practiced.
