Injury report: Some good news, some bad

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Two of the six Giants starters who did not practice on Wednesday were back on the field Thursday.

Wide receiver Hakeem Nicks (knee) and defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul (back) were both in action, on a limited basis.

But cornerback Prince Amukamara (hamstring), safety Kenny Phillips (knee), linebacker Michael Boley (back) and running back Ahmad Bradshaw (knee/foot) did not practice for the second straight day.

Coach Tom Coughlin said there was no update on Bradshaw's status for Sunday's game against the Falcons. As for Phillips, Coughlin said, "I really don’t know what to comment on that. He was back and then obviously had a setback, and now he’s working his way back again."

Amukamara has no idea whether he'll be able to play Sunday at this point. "I definitely felt a little bit more pain after the (Saints) game after the adrenaline started to come down," he said, "but I don’t know what my status will be this weekend until the coach or the trainers tell me."

Reserve safety Tyler Sash (hamstring) also did not practice.
