Injury report: Nicks watches end of practice

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Hakeem Nicks looked good for a second day in practice before experiencing tightness in his groin.

Nicks watched the last part of practice from the sideline.

"I guess he got a little tightness in the groin and they held him [out]," coach Tom Coughlin said.

Eli Manning said Friday that Nicks told him he was 100 percent and ready to go full in camp. He looked good Saturday and early Sunday when he caught a bomb on Corey Webster in one-on-one drills down the right sideline. The crowd on hand at camp roared with delight.

Nicks' health is going to be a major issue for this season since he means so much to the offense. Last year, Nicks labored through foot and knee injuries that had an impact on the offense and the deep ball.

Sash cramps: Tyler Sash cramped up at the end of practice. Though the safety was carted off at the end, he appeared to be fine and was in good spirits.

Only the five Giants on the PUP list -- Jason Pierre-Paul, Chris Snee, Henry Hynoski, Markus Kuhn and Terrell Thomas -- did not participate in practice. Aaron Curry, who cramped up late in Saturday's practice, was back on the field on Sunday.
