Steppin' to the AM: Busy day for Coughlin

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- After Saturday's practice, New York Giants coach Tom Coughin will head to Canton, Ohio, to see Bill Parcells' induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

But before that, the Giants will get some work in.

They had their first fully-padded practice Friday, and will look to build on that Saturday.

In case you missed it: Justin Pugh was diagnosed with a concussion. Corey Webster sat out practice with a groin strain. Hakeem Nicks says his groin injury isn't an injury and he's just being cautious. Doctors have told Coughlin they think Nicks might be able to return Tuesday.

There are a ton of items on the blog. Brandon Myers, Mathias Kiwanuka, Andre Brown and Antrel Rolle are the main topics. Check it out.

On deck: Practice is from 1-3 p.m. Player interviews start at 11:15 a.m. We'll have all the pertinent info on the blog, so check back often. Thanks for reading.
