Eli Manning ran some of his Giants teammates through a workout today at Hoboken High School in New Jersey.
Manning organized a workout with 11 players that included wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, tight end Kevin Boss, running back D.J. Ware and backup quarterback Sage Rosenfels according to the Newark Star Ledger.
Manning lives in Hoboken and said back during Super Bowl week that he might organize a workout with his receivers.
With the lockout still going on, Manning ran some of his receivers through passing drills. This is believed to be the first player-organized workout for the Giants during the lockout.
Wide receiver Ramses Barden, who is making his way back from ankle cleanout surgery, tweeted earlier in the day, “About to go place catch with my favorite quarterback. Hopefully he feels the same way about me.”
