Shaun O'Hara is "extremely pleased" that the NFL lockout is over and is ready to start the season.
"After a long and strenuous process, we are extremely pleased to be able to get back to our jobs," O'Hara, the Giants center and player representative, said in a statement Monday afternoon, according to the Star-Ledger. "The business side of the game has been exhausting for everyone, including the fans. It is our hope that this 10-year agreement will bring a decades worth of labor peace and enable the game to continue to grow exponentially.
"The players and the owners truly negotiated this deal, both sides gave and both sides gained, and ultimately everyone will benefit from this deal. It has been an honor to serve and represent my teammates during this process, and I am now looking forward to joining them to commence our season."
