Three teams have emerged as the favorites to land free-agent wideout Plaxico Burress, according to the Newark (N.J.) Star-Ledger.
Sources told the newspaper that the Texans, Bears and Rams will all be vying for Burress' services.
The Eagles had been considered the favorite, but a source told the newspaper, "No talk of him here."
The Jets could also be in the mix for Burress if they fail to re-sign Santonio Holmes or/and Braylon Edwards.
Giants owner John Mara said Monday on 1050 ESPN that the team "certainly will talk about" bringing Burress back.
