Giants defensive end Justin Tuck says that his sore right achillies, which caused him to miss practice on Wednesday, is "great."
"I'm great, I feel great," Tuck said, adding that he didn't feel any pain in the Achillies on Friday. "It’s one of those things that pops up and you deal with it and hopefully nip it in the bud to not have to deal with it again."
On Osi Umenyiora's absence due to knee surgery, Tuck said the Giants should be equipped to deal with the loss.
"Obviously it's a blow but just like before when he was holding out or not practicing iT gives other guys opportunities," Tuck said.
Jason Pierre-Paul is expected to slide into Umenyiora's role at starting right defensive end.
